NW Columbia Real Estate was formed by two brokers, Gary Johnson and Kitt Pratt. They met in 1995 when Kitt joined the John L. Scott office where Gary was the managing broker. They developed a mutual respect for each other’s work which continues today.

In the fall of 2008, Gary and Kitt started discussing the possibility of creating a small real estate firm, which would allow them to work together, and provide the flexibility and opportunity to offer better service to their clients. They were also looking for a way to connect on a more personal basis with their buyers and sellers. Forming a small company seemed to be the best solution, and NW Columbia Realtors was launched July 1, 2009.

Combined, Gary and Kitt have over 60 years of real estate experience. They each have great knowledge and understanding of the business, and are highly skilled at guiding your real estate transactions.

The Internet has changed the way Realtors do business and marketing. In recent years, it has changed enough that a large company is no longer necessary in order to service clients and have an Internet presence. Much of our marketing and advertising is now done through websites and using online marketing tools. RMLS is now web based, and clients have the opportunity to conduct many of their own property searches. A tremendous amount of our correspondence with clients and the public is being done through email. Whether you prefer to use high tech solutions to conduct your real estate transaction, or want someone who can work in the old fashioned, low tech way, we have the tools to serve you.

We believe that it is the broker and his or her commitment to the client which drives loyalty and results, and not the big real estate company.
